It’s that time of year again!
As we approach International Batten Disease Awareness Day on 9 June, we are hoping you and your circle of friends can help us raise awareness for Batten disease by joining us to #Bounce4Batten! Everyone is invited to spread some awareness and joy! Let’s fill our social media pages with bounces, leaps and star-jumps for a good cause.
It couldn’t be easier to get your kids, pets, and friends involved… it might be bouncing a ball, bouncing in a puddle, bouncing on a trampoline or bouncing over bumps in your wheelchair… it’s all about the feel-good factor of giving and having some fun as we #Bounce4Batten!
Without collective awareness, discussion and lobbying, it won’t be possible to advocate for treatments for Batten disease and raise funds for research to help find a cure.
To make a difference all you have to do is bounce a bit (or a lot because you probably won’t want to stop), and post a photo on social media. Don’t forget to tag us on Facebook @bdsraaustralia and Instagram @bdsra_australia — Not only does this get the message out and raise awareness for Batten disease, it spreads joy.
Show your support in just 4 steps:
1. START BOUNCING! It’s a lot of fun!
2. SNAP A PHOTO of someone or something bouncing
3. SPREAD THE WORD Share your bouncing photo on social media with #Bounce4Batten #bdsraaustralia and encourage your friends, family and followers to do the same.
4. FOLLOW us on Instagram @bdsra_australia or Facebook @bdsraaustralia and support our ongoing awareness campaigns and our efforts to advocate for treatments for Batten disease and raise funds for research.
